Books and Web sites listed: The major books useful for owners of deaf dogs, bling dogs and blind-deaf dogs were reviewed. Comments were offered on the most important. Some of the relevant Web sites available in 2011 were listed, usually without active links. Deaf, Deaf-blind, Blind Dog and Dog Behavior Books
Who were Dr Eisenbart, T E, .... ?; Historical persons who supported the weak, persecuted, sick and oppressed were discussed breifly. A few modern contributors for various sound reasons chose to employ pseudonyms.
Who are "we"?; A few visitors requested a brief discussion of the origin of this Web site, purposes and goals of the contributors. During 2010 many owners of deaf, blind and deaf dogs discussed the short-falls and weakness of the ephemeral, often repetitive content chat lists (Portals such as Yahoo generally offered a valuable list-chat platform) where usually useful information was readily available for only a few days. Most chat-list archive were often almost imposible to search for research information readable by us ordinary owners. A longer term Web-site offered a solution, and indeed has aided by mid 2011, may thouands of visitors.
